Harrison Training Group in conjunction with (Malyon Vocational Training) is very excited to now offer our TAE40116 – TAE40122 Workshop Program. The course content itself is focused on the gaps between the previous TAE40116 and the new TAE40122 qualifications.

All our classes in Adelaide are conducted by experienced VET Educators and are interactive and involve group activities that make it more enjoyable to complete and help you to benchmark your performance alongside other trainers and get real-time feedback from your facilitators on your progress.

So why should I upgrade to the TAE40122?questionHere are 7 Reasons why you should considering upgrading to the New TAE40122.

No 1 – Best Practice in VET is to always stay one step ahead of the changes
No 2 – The Equivalency ruling on the TAE40116 will change so lets not wait for that that to happen.
No 3 – To do the TAE40122 as a “stand alone” program will take a lot longer than the previous TAE Qualification. (There are more units to complete and more in depth assessment criteria)
No 4 – Companies advertising for New Trainers and Assessors generally insist on you holding the latest version of the qualification which is the TAE40122.
No 5 – It shows your commitment to maintaining currency in VET as a quality Trainer and Assessor
No 6 – Because Harrison Training Group offer a really good Upgrade Program from the TAE40116 to the TAE40122
No 7- IMPORTANT NOTE: Although the VET Standards do not mandate that TAE40116 Holders need to Upgrade to the latest TAE40122 qualification there are Conditions for anyone who is a holder of an outdated/superseded TAE qualification.According to the Credential Policy found in the 2025 VET Standards anyone who is a holder of the TAE40116 must still be able to prove that they have;
a) Kept their Knowledge and Skills current based on the TAE40122.
b) Prove they have undertaken Professional Development in the TAE competencies.
c) If not a holder of the TAE40122 to attain other relevant industry competencies.
This in essence may be harder to do for some people than simply completing the TAE Upgrade to the latest Version.
