Do I really need to complete the Full TAE40122 – Certificate IV in Training and Assessment?
You can if you want but whats also important to know is that the NEW 2025 Standards now allow for people to become Trainers and Assessors without having to hold the FULL TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. We now offer these programs and they can be completed by doing a Short Intensive TAE Skill Set Program. YES! This is enough to start as a Trainer and Assessor in the VET Sector. Want to find out more? Contact us and we can discuss the various options with you.
A TAE Skill Set allows you to do the normal work of a VET Trainer and Assessor including:
- Delivery of Training & Teaching
- Facilitating and Conducting Assessments
- Collection and Confirmation of Student Evidence*
*NOTE: Skill Set holders CANNOT authorise a final sign off on a Students Competency relating to anything that leads to a Nationally recognised Qualification or Statement of Attainment.
If you need further help just pick up the phone and call us. NOTE: When you do call we will need specifics, so please ensure you know what attainments you have so we can actually help you with exactly what the process might look like for you.
